Dallin Cutler
Dallin brings extensive experience as both a player and coach. He played 6 years professionally with teams including the San Diego Sockers, Ontario Fury, San Diego 1904 FC, and Pittsburgh Riverhounds. He also competed at the collegiate D1 level for San Diego State University and semi-professionally for BYU. As a coach, Dallin served as Head Coach and General Manager for San Diego 1904 FC, becoming the youngest head coach in the club’s history. He also led Rancho Bernardo High School to three consecutive CIF Finals, winning two titles, and has over 10 years of club coaching experience with DMCV Sharks, Albion SC, FC Golden State, and Surf.

Jason Perrenoud
Jason is a respected coach and business leader with extensive experience in operations management and strategic planning. Holding a USSF D license, he has developed numerous players and teams in Utah County, earning recognition as a leader in the local soccer community. As COO of Tesani Companies, Jason applies his expertise to drive efficiency and foster innovation while maintaining a strong commitment to mentorship and community engagement on and off the field.

Brit Osborne
Brit brings valuable experience as both a player and coach, with a career rooted in competitive soccer. As a player, he developed with Sparta (youth) and competed at the collegiate level with BYU Soccer. As a coach, Brit has over 10 years of experience with various youth clubs, including Utah Celtic, where he has contributed to player development and team success. A USSF Licensed Coach, Brit is dedicated to mentoring young athletes and fostering their growth on and off the field.

Ariel Chavez
Ariel combines extensive playing and coaching experience, making him a valuable asset to Utah Athletic. His playing career includes time with ODP Region 4, BYU Soccer, the El Paso Patriots (USL), and Magari de Juarez (Mexico) at the professional level. With over 10 years of club coaching experience, Ariel has led teams in the Provo Athletic Club (UPSL) and currently coaches at Utah Athletic. As a USSF Licensed Coach, Ariel is dedicated to developing players and fostering excellence both on and off the field.

Matt Stoddard
Matt is a seasoned coach with over 10 years of experience, including leadership roles in youth soccer clubs in Utah and semi-professional coaching in the USL. He served as an assistant coach for BYU Men’s Soccer, where he helped secure a Club National Championship, and for the U.S. Men’s National Collegiate Team at the World University Games in Taiwan. Matt has guided numerous players to success at the NCAA Division 1 and professional levels, combining a commitment to excellence with a deep understanding of the game.

Head Goalkeeper Coach
Matheus Lucas
Matheus Lucas is our 27-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper coach with a strong background in both playing and coaching. Currently pursuing a degree in Physical Education, he has completed multiple specialized coaching courses ranging from youth development to the professional level. Matheus also brings firsthand experience as a goalkeeper, having competed with various amateur and professional Fut7 teams in Brazil. His coaching methodology focuses on developing the modern goalkeeper through specific, game-realistic training sessions that mirror match situations, while emphasizing individual development and progression for each player.

Ian Hayne
High-level player developed in the highly competitive San Diego soccer environment, with collegiate and international scouting exposure. Combines elite-level insight into training, competition, and player development with extensive experience in one-on-one training and individualized development, helping athletes maximize their potential through disciplined, game-realistic training. Matheus also brings firsthand experience as a goalkeeper, having competed with various amateur and professional Fut7 teams in Brazil. His coaching methodology focuses on developing the modern goalkeeper through specific, game-realistic training sessions that mirror match situations, while emphasizing individual development and progression for each player.

Chris Nagel
Coach Chris Nagel brings several years of competitive coaching experience at both the club and high school levels. He served as an assistant coach at Shooters Soccer Club from 2017–2019 before becoming head coach of the Premier boys team from 2019–2025. He has also coached at Salem Hills High School from 2021–2024. Holding a U.S. Soccer National D License, Coach Nagel is passionate about developing players not only on the field, but through the real-life lessons the game teaches—discipline, teamwork, and resilience. Outside of soccer, Chris serves as the COO of Summit Construction, where he believes that strong systems, transparency, and clear communication are the foundation of any successful team—principles he brings into his coaching every day.Matheus also brings firsthand experience as a goalkeeper, having competed with various amateur and professional Fut7 teams in Brazil. Technical Director; U20 Men
David Mayer
David comes to us with a UEFA A and as a US Soccer A Senior Licensed coach with extensive experience across professional academies like Manchester City, international development systems, and other elite youth environments. During his time as Academy Director within the Utah Red Wolves organization, he oversaw player development and played a key role in placing dozens of players into Division I programs and professional environments. He has also served as Global Head of Foundation Phase at 7Elite Academy, where he led curriculum and coach education across clubs in England, the United States, and Africa. As a former player, he developed within Wigan Athletic F.C. and played professionally in Spain, bringing an international perspective to his approach. David will be joining Utah Athletic as Technical Director, where he will oversee all soccer operations, coaching standards, and the development and implementation of the club’s curriculum across the organization.

Academy Director; U14 Boys
Carl Turner
Carl will be serving as the boys Academy Director for our North Academy and is a U.S. Soccer B Licensed coach with over 12 years of experience developing players across academy, high school, and elite environments. He most recently served as Assistant Academy Director and Head Coach with Utah Red Wolves Soccer Academy, where he supported academy operations and coached across multiple age groups. His coaching experience spans club, high school, and elite development settings, including time with Impact United, University of Utah Women’s Soccer, Olympic Development Program, and FC Dallas. Through these roles, he has worked with players at every stage, from grassroots to high-performance pathways. Carl has also completed advanced training in Soccer Management & Scouting through Sports Management Worldwide, specializing in player evaluation, recruitment, and performance analysis. He has helped guide players to college opportunities, professional trials, and contracts, and focuses on developing complete players through strong technical and tactical foundations.

Sam Gomez
Sam brings a rich background as both a player and coach, with experience at elite levels of soccer. His playing career includes time with the Seattle Sounders (youth), CSU Bakersfield (D1), and several professional and semi-professional teams, including San Diego Zest (USL), Port Orchard FC (USL), Kitsap Pumas (NPSL), Real España (Honduras), and San Diego 1904FC (NISA). As a coach, Sam has led teams at Port Orchard FC (semi-pro), Highland High School (V Girls), and various youth clubs over the past 5 years. A USSF Licensed Coach, Sam is dedicated to developing players and bringing his wealth of experience to every level of the game.

Raul Cavvazos
Coach Raul Cavazos is a dedicated and accomplished soccer coach with over eight years of experience developing student athletes at the high school and competitive youth club levels. Holding a USSF B License, along with a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and a master’s degree in Soccer Coaching Education, he brings both practical expertise and a strong academic foundation to his coaching philosophy. Currently serving as a Physical Education teacher and Head Boys’ Soccer Coach at Kearns High School, Coach Cavazos leads both varsity and junior varsity programs with a focus on player development, tactical growth, and team cohesion. He also contributes to the development pipeline as Head Coach at Jefferson Jr. High. Coach Cavazos is committed to building disciplined, team-oriented student athletes while fostering a positive and competitive culture. His approach emphasizes technical skill, mental preparation, and character development, helping players succeed on the field and prepare for the next level of competition and life beyond the game.

Originally from Northern Ireland, moved to the United States to play collegiate soccer at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville. Former Head of Team Operations in the USL Championship and most recently USL W Head Coach at Tennessee SC. Currently completing my U.S. Soccer B License.

Michael Jordan
With two decades of experience on the sidelines, Michael Jordan has become a fixture in high-level youth soccer development. His coaching career spans 20 years, during which he has successfully led both boys' and girls' programs through the most competitive landscapes in the United States

Head Coach U17 Boys
Spencer Jackson
Spencer Jackson joins us in his second year as an assistant coach at Westminster University. He began his collegiate playing career at Colorado Mesa University, where he spent two seasons earning RMAC Offensive Player of the Week honors while helping lead the Mavericks to two conference championships and a national semifinal appearance. During his time in Colorado, Jackson also competed in the USL Premier Development League (now USL League Two) with Real Colorado Foxes. Following his time at Colorado Mesa, Jackson transferred to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he made a lasting impact. He scored one of the most significant goals in program history, netting the game-winner in a 1–0 upset over No. 23 Utah Valley to send the Rebels to the WAC Tournament championship match. While at UNLV, he won a conference championship and advanced to the third round of the NCAA Tournament. He graduated with a degree in Kinesiology. After graduating, Jackson continued his playing career in MASL2 with the Ontario Fury while also beginning his coaching career with Riverside City FC (now Albion SC Riverside). Spencer Jackson brings a diverse background as both a player and a coach, shaped by his experience in high-level, winning environments and his commitment to developing athletes who can perform at their best, reflecting his deep passion for soccer and dedication to helping players reach their full potential.

Ryan Mitchell
Ryan Mitchell brings over 25 years of coaching experience across youth, high school, and elite development environments. He has coached extensively at the club level, spent 12 years with Utah ODP, and 12 years at Herriman High School, while also serving as a director for Nike Soccer Camps. As a player, Mitchell developed with Eastside FC before competing at the Division I level with Sacramento State and in the USL with BYU Soccer. He also gained professional playing experience with the Sacramento Kings (WISL) and Reno Rattlers (USISL). A USSF-licensed coach, Mitchell combines decades of experience with a deep understanding of player development at all levels of the game.

Carlos Rodriguez
Carlos brings a wealth of experience as both a player and coach. He helped lead the Utah Valley Rangers to four state championships, competed in Western Regionals, and earned 5A All-State First Team honors while captaining Timpanogos High School’s varsity team. He continued his playing career at Utah Valley Community College (now UVU) before transitioning into coaching with clubs like Celtic and Surf. With 13 years of professional experience at Adobe as a Creative Cloud Named Support Engineer, Carlos excels in communication, organization, and leadership. He combines his soccer background and professional expertise to create a positive, growth-oriented environment for players at Utah Athletic.

Operations Manager
Brock Mildon
Brock brings a well-rounded background in athlete development, operations, and wellness to Utah Athletic. He currently serves as Director of Wellness at Magellan Academy, where he focuses on supporting the physical and mental performance of student-athletes. In addition to his work in wellness, Brock has been part of the professional sports environment with Real Salt Lake, contributing to premium services and gaining valuable insight into high-level player and fan experiences. He has also held a leadership role as Academy Club Administrator with Chattanooga Red Wolves SC, helping manage academy operations and support player development pathways. Earlier in his career, Brock gained international and domestic operations experience through internships with the Austrian Baseball Softball Federation in Vienna and the Orem Owlz. With experience spanning wellness, operations, and elite sports environments, Brock plays a key role in creating a high-performance, athlete-centered culture at Utah Athletic.

Alex Neff
Alex brings a strong academic and athletic background to Utah Athletic, holding a BS in Exercise Science and an MS in Sports Conditioning and Performance. As a player, he was named TOSH Utah Youth Soccer Association Player of the Year, earned Scholar All-American honors at Utah Valley University, and was a 3x First Team All-Conference selection. As the Founder and Owner of OP Zone in Pleasant Grove, Utah, Alex specializes in training athletes of all levels, including professionals across various sports. Using evidence-based programming, he is dedicated to helping every athlete achieve peak performance.

Head of Mental Performance
Camden Read
Camden brings a unique combination of soccer expertise and mental performance training to Utah Athletic. He led Pleasant Grove High School to the 6A State Soccer Championship in 2018 and has two years of coaching experience with Utah Celtic, where he nurtured young talent and developed technical skills. Currently pursuing a Master’s in Sports Psychology at BYU, Camden has collaborated with renowned experts like Dr. Craig Manning (Milwaukee Bucks) and Dr. Carrie Hastings (LA Rams). His advanced knowledge of mental performance strategies helps athletes reach their full potential both physically and mentally.
