Elite FC Joins Utah Athletic, Strengthening Youth Soccer in Tooele

Elite FC unites with Utah Athletic to expand competitive pathways for Tooele County players while preserving the coaches, teams, and community that have defined the club.

TOOELE, Utah — Utah Athletic is proud to announce its merger with Elite FC, one of Tooele County's most established youth soccer organizations. Effective immediately, Elite FC will operate as Utah Athletic West under the broader Utah Athletic Club platform, with tryouts for the integrated club scheduled for the end of May at Peak Sports Complex in Grantsville.

This partnership combines Elite FC's strong community foundation with Utah Athletic's expansive infrastructure, elite programming, and internationally recognized resources — giving Tooele families more opportunity without leaving the community they've built.

What Stays the Same

This merger was made with a clear commitment: protect what already works. Through the remainder of the 2025–26 season:

• Coaches remain in their current positions

• Teams stay intact

• Age group leadership is unchanged

• Training continues at Peak Sports Complex and within Tooele County Schools

• Elite FC's existing leadership remains actively involved

• Recreation and adult league programs continue as a core focus

Typical team shifts will occur after tryouts at the end of May, with Age Group Directors retaining their positions for the 2026–27 season.

Players transitioning from Elite FC will immediately gain access to the full suite of resources and opportunities that define the Utah Athletic experience, including:

• Access to platform leagues including EA, JPL, UPSL, etc., providing structured, high-level competition designed to accelerate player growth.

• Pathways to Utah Athletic Academy — one of the strongest Academy systems in the state of Utah, providing a clear competitive and developmental ladder for aspiring players.

• An official partnership with Adidas, offering players access to premium equipment, apparel, and brand-affiliated opportunities.

• An international network of Athletic Clubs, opening doors to global playing and development experiences.

• A compensated coaching staff supported by expanded resources for both players and coaches, alongside a developing player performance platform that equips athletes and families with data-centered tools for tracking fitness, athletic output, and long-term development goals.

• A holistic approach to player development — technical, tactical, physical, and mental — within a professional and supportive structure.

Upcoming Tryouts

Tryouts for Utah Athletic West will be held at the end of May at Peak Sports Complex, 2930 UT-112, Grantsville, UT. Current Elite FC families are encouraged to attend and are welcome to reach out directly with any questions regarding the transition process. Additional details regarding registration and updated club fees will be communicated to current Elite FC families directly.
